Ecosynergy was founded in 2009. They offer energy performance services that will help you turn your existing home or brand-new build into a highly efficient, cost effective, green home. The goals of Ecosynergy are to educate trades and professionals in understanding building science and the concept of “building as a system” and promoting “best practice” envelope construction. Ecosynergy’s multi-disciplinary expertise can assist design teams in meeting their energy performance targets by providing timely, context-appropriate, and cost-effective solutions.

What product would Ecosynergy like to feature: Aerobarrier
Aerobarrier is a pressurized application and is completely computerized (not dependent on humans). While sealant is being misted into the air, the unit is under positive pressure. The pressure forces air through the openings and “holes” in the building envelope system and carries the sealant with it, allowing the sealant to self-seal all holes (1/2 inch to a hair line) in one application without any residue on walls or any vertical surface! Why did Ecosynergy become part of the RRHBA? Ecosynergy joined the RRHBA mainly as educators in finding creative cost-effective solutions to construction and to assist in the transition of the energy code. They also wanted to promote their product Aerobarrier.
